Public Hearing Notice
The City of Postville will be holding a Public Hearing to review a project bid for the Williams-Reynolds Street intersection and to make available to the public the City’s project plan. These documents include design and environmental information related to the proposed improvements to the City’s Williams and Reynolds streets.
The project includes the replacement and improvement of curb and gutter, sidewalk, and pavement and the installation of new storm sewer at the intersection. These improvements are located at the Williams Street and Reynolds Street intersection. Existing asphalt pavement is planned to be removed and replaced with new asphalt pavement as part of this project. The existing curb ramps will be removed and replaced to conform with ADA requirements.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to inform area residents of the community of Postville of this proposed action, discuss the actual costs associated with this project, and to address citizens’ concerns, if any, with the plan.
